Johansy Richardson is a dedicated executive member of the Kevin Richardson Foundation, where she passionately champions causes close to her heart. Born and raised in the vibrant community of Washington Heights, Johansy's journey and devotion towards service began at a young age. Endowed with boundless energy and a compassionate spirit, she was drawn to volunteer work early on, finding fulfillment in lending a helping hand to those in need. Her innate sense of empathy led her to intern at a healthcare facility during high school, an experience that ignited her passion for caregiving and nurturing. Demonstrating remarkable dedication and compassion, Johansy quickly became an indispensable member of the team, earning the trust and respect of patients and colleagues alike.

Inspired by her work in healthcare, Johansy embarked on a career path that combined her nurturing spirit with her penchant for organization and planning. Despite her demanding role at Isabella Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, Johansy's diligence and resolve earned her successive promotions, culminating in her leadership of the Managed Care department. Concurrently, she pursued her passion for event and business planning, showcasing her multifaceted talents beyond the realm of healthcare.

In 2011, Johansy graduated with an associate applied science degree in Accounting from LaGuardia Community College. Furthering her education, she pursued studies at the BMCC and obtained certification in event and business planning from CUNY Hostos, solidifying her expertise in her chosen field.

Johansy's life journey took a beautiful turn when she first met Kevin Richardson, in 2003. Their friendship blossomed into a deep bond, culminating in marriage in 2016. Together, they share the joy of raising two wonderful daughters.

An ardent advocate and mentor, Johansy accompanies Kevin across the country and also uses her own platform to amplify the voices of marginalized and/or unheard communities, particularly in the realm of mental health and social justice. Her involvement with the Kevin Richardson Foundation is a testament to her unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for all. Through the foundation, Johansy is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues, providing resources, and advocating for social change.
